Steps to follow:
1. Before recording, go to SOUND SETTINGS - SOUND CONTROL PANEL - Under Recording tab, ensure that STEREO MIX is selected as default.
2. Keep volume levels near 50% at max, as high-volume levels will create distortion in audio recordings.h
3. Play any online audio or video and open VOICE RECORDER on your pc/laptop and start recording.
4. . Audio recordings will be in M4A format which are playable on mobiles as well.

This method is useful for recording from online music platforms like Hungama, Gaana, Saavan , wynk etc. and also office meetings on ZOOM, Skype etc.
